PrimeTheater was responsible for the design and construction of a fully bespoke cinema room for Barco Residential at its facilities in Norway. The space was specifically created for the brand to test, validate and evaluate the performance of its projection systems and screens under real-world conditions.

More than a demonstration room, this project was designed to serve as a dedicated testing environment, where Barco Residential can assess the performance of its technologies, refine its solutions and demonstrate the full potential of its equipment.

To ensure maximum testing accuracy, PrimeTheater developed the room from the ground up, maintaining precise control over every factor that influences projection quality. Acoustic treatment, room isolation, lighting management, material selection and spatial configuration were all carefully planned to provide optimal evaluation conditions.

The result is a high-performance cinema room where Barco Residential systems can be tested in a controlled environment, allowing for precise assessment of key parameters such as contrast, depth and visual fidelity.
